Contacts

messeji helps you manage your Contacts.  You can create new Contacts in messeji or access your Google Contacts.

Create New Contact

You can add Contacts when you create or edit Meetings & Tasks.

  • Meetings
    • Type the Contact’s name in the ‘Attendee Name’ field
    • Click the ‘+’ button
    • Fill in the Contact details
    • Click the SAVE button
  • Tasks
    • Type the Contact’s name in the ‘Assign To’ field
    • Click the ‘+’ button
    • Fill in the Contact details
    • Click the SAVE button

Add an existing Contact to a Meeting or Task

  • Meetings
    • Type the Contact’s name in the ‘Attendee Name’ field
    • Find the Contact’s on the list
    • Click the Contact’s name to add as an Attendee
  • Tasks
    • Type the Contact’s name in the ‘Assign To’ field
    • Find the Contact’s on the list
    • Click the Contact’s name to add as a Task Owner

See & Edit Contact details 

  • Click on the Contacts name from to see a preview box of the Contact’s details
  • Click the EDIT button to see the Contact’s full detail and make changes

Remove a Contact from a Meeting or Task

  • You can remove a Contact from a Meeting or Task in Edit mode
  • Click the ‘x’ next to the Contact’s name
  • Please note that if you delete a Contact, they will still be able to see Invitations or Task Assignment Emails that had been previously sent

Delete a Contact

  • You cannot delete Contacts in the messeji MVP

Contacts synced from Google

  • When you Sign up / in with Google you can access your Google Contacts from messeji
  • You can access both your Google Contacts and Other Contact, but messeji can only access photos for individuals in your Google Contacts list.
    • If your Google Contacts have a photo uploaded for their Google Account, their photo will display as an Avatar in messeji
    • You can see the Contact’s name and email address, you cannot see additional details in the messeji MVP
  • Changes made in messeji will not be reflected in Google Contacts
